The fine print
Privacy policy
Last updated
Short version: you have no account here, we sell nothing to advertisers and we keep as little as we can.
What we collect
Audience measurement. Every page loads Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are used. IP anonymization is turned on, so your full IP address is not stored by Google for this purpose. Analytics tells us things like page views, rough location (country or region), device type and how you reached the site. We do not use it to identify you or for advertising.
Server logs. Our servers and our content delivery provider keep short technical logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser) to keep the site running and secure. They are deleted on a rolling basis.
No accounts, no forms. There is no sign-up, no comment box and no newsletter. If you email us, we keep the message only as long as needed to answer it.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets its own first-party cookies to tell visits apart. CamSifter itself sets no tracking cookie. Your browser's settings, or an extension, can block or delete these cookies at any time; the site still works without them.
Rooms and links to other sites
When a performer is live, their room plays through the host platform's official player, embedded on the page. When you click a link that opens a room, you go to the host platform through an affiliate link. That platform, and the player it serves, may set its own cookies and collect data under its own privacy policy, which we do not control.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, or to object to its use. Because we hold almost nothing that identifies you, most requests concern analytics: you can opt out with your browser settings or Google's own opt-out tools. For anything else, use the contact page.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version.
